Rylee's 2nd Birthday

Rylee turned 2 years old last Friday!!  I can't believe how big she is and how fast the time goes.  She talks my ear off all day long.  Her new favorite thing to do is follow me around the house and ask "What are you doing?"  She seems to be growing at an alarming rate.  I wake up in the morning and can't believe how much taller she seems than yesterday.  She has almost outgrown her 2T clothes already.  If it wasn't for our neighbors who left us with several boxes of hand-me-downs (thank you McAllisters!) she would have spent the rest of the summer wearing nothing but diapers and too short t-shirts!

On Wednesday night we had a party to celebrate Rylee and Uncle Mike's birthdays.  Grandma and Grandpa, Great-Grandma Shelton, Uncle Mike and Aunt Suzanne, and Cousins Breanna and Jessica all came over for cake and ice cream and presents.  Mike was nice to share his birthday (and party) with Rylee and we had a fun night.

Then on Thursday we drove up to Bear Lake to spend the weekend camping with the Larsens.  Chad's Aunt Carol owns a house in Idaho that she let his family use for the week, and several of us pulled up our trailers and parked them on the lawn to make room for everybody.  We spent a relaxing weekend (except for the mosquitos) enjoying the sun and playing in the water.  Rylee had a blast playing with her Butler, Fisher and McKnight cousins.

On Friday night we had cake and ice cream to celebrate Rylee and Oaklee's birthdays.  (Oaklee's is just a few weeks after Ry's.)  The girls got to blow out candles and Rylee had TWO bowls of ice cream (thanks, daddy)!  We let her open most of her presents on Wednesday at her party, but we saved one for her to open Friday for her actual birthday.  It was her very first Barbie.  She thought it was great and carried her around all night combing her hair.  She still calls it "Princess" instead of Barbie, but Kenadee told her all about the different kinds of Barbies and the accessories that you can get.  I'm sure she will be a pro in no time.

HAPPY TWO YEARS BABY GIRL!!!
